Meet Aaron & Alayna Elam

Aaron Elam is a 12-year Veteran of the United States Air Force and current

Aaron and Alayna Elam are philanthropists that have served children and
families in the Unites States, Africa, and the Phillipines. They have a
heart to serve communities and have created the First Serv Foundation to
expand their service to homeless and housing insecure Veterans,
post-incarcerated citizens, children aging out of foster care, and others
that are homeless, transitioning, and recovering at various stages of life.

Our Mission

To serve with integrity and excellence, providing holisitc shared housing for veterans, justice-challenged adults, young adults who have aged out of foster care, and other marginalized groups that are homeless or experiencing housing instability.

We create homes with a family like atmosphere and encourage overall wellness through quarterly acivities and referrals for employment, food pantries, education, outpatient rehabilitation, and mental health services.

Our Vision
The First Serv Foundation’s vision of expansion includes:
  • Repurposing hotels/motels, multifamily homes, and shared housing for men and women who are homeless, transitioning, and recovering at various stages.
  • Opening affordable, permanent tiny and modular home neighborhoods for veterans and women with dependents
  • Creating wellness facilities to combat PTSD and other mental health challenges for veterans and civilians.
  • Creating farms for veterans and civilians – agroponic and aquaponic farming incorporated with shared housing and wellness facilities
  • Securing global real estate to increase the First Serv Foundation’s reach.
The First Serv Foundation received an award for its housing in October 2022 from the Shared Housing Symposium in Seattle, WA and a special honor in Atlanta, GA in January 2023 for housing the homeless.
